How to Prepare Lessons for YLs that Work
Abstract
This course aims at providing practical tips for preparing and delivering exciting lessons for Young Learners as well as keeping them focused, engaged, and behaved. At times, dealing with YL might be challenging and even stressful. However, it is possible and rewarding when using the right tools and techniques. In addition, teachers and students may experience a productive, enriching, and enjoyable time together if teachers bear this in mind when preparing their lessons. Teachers need to understand their role and the students’ profiles to help them become more autonomous through the learning strategies.

Bio
Alessandra has been an EFL teacher for over 20 years with experience working and developing materials for YLs, Teens, and Adults. She holds a B.A. in English and Portuguese, the CAE, CELTA, TKT YL& CLIL certificates, and several other certifications such as English in Early Childhood-British Council; Dyslexia & Foreign Language Teaching-Lancaster University.
